Lessons From Game Of Thrones

Hey Everybody!!! I am pretty sure, there are a lot of people out there who are huge fans of the TV series Game of Thrones..Games of Thrones is one such tale that leaves a bitter sweet taste for all the viewers... I am a firm believer that GoT is not only a fantasy Saga, but on a philosophical scale a tale written to teach us the most important principles of our day to day life.... Especially in this modern Era which is nothing like the earlier days, when people were all about sunshine and puppies..

GoT is a Bitch Slap wake up call for all of us.....

Now, I strictly believe that George R.R. Martin had some other ulterior motive when he penned down this Saga...

I began to investigate what it was... I started trying to understand what he wanted convey... Ok starters he likes wolves and turtles... Now what does that say.... I got the theory down... He is into Jataka tales and wants us to understand the meaning of life and take away lessons from his Saga. Here are the Takeaway lessons from Game Of Thrones

1) First Love is a Douche:
OK; I hate being the bubble smasher, but hey! your first love doesn't necessarily have to be your prince charming... he can be the evil, sick, pervert king of all the Wackos out there... Just be happy that you got outta that....Prince Joeffery is our prime example for here...

2) Mind your own Business:
Now, this is a good lesson for all of us... Do not go peeping around, just because you heard voices... Mind your own business or you will thrown out of the window,.... Age ain't gonna matter...So kida!! u got something to learn fro Bran here...

3) Shit Happens!!
This is life and Shit happens!! But.. You need to embrace the crap and move ahead and still get back at the douches who made your life lame... That, my friend, is how you win.. Learn something from Tyrion.

 4) Twists and Turns:
GoT warns you... What you think and Imagine doesn't necessarily have to happen... This is life and lots of twists and turns..Now see Sansa... Nothing ever happened as she hoped for... yet she is surviving the struggle..

 5) Don't be a Pompous Ass:
Did you win? Great!! good for you.. Now stop bullshitting around before you get your head smashed... Revenge is sweet as long as you do it.. Don't make a scene man!!There are people counting on you.Tsk Tsk Tsk Oberyn Martell.. See where he ended up?!!!

 6) Weddings Come with Stress:
Ok now!! Its not just for the brides and groom, weddings can sometimes be stressful for the guests as well... So Suck it up I guess!!! or DON'T ATTEND... We all know what happened in the red wedding and the purple wedding.. Keep Calm and have some wine!!!!

 7) Be Ambitious Not Over Ambitious:
Aye!! Nobody said you cant be ambitious... we only asked you to be ambitious and still be nice to people who helped you.. or else you will end up being a smack whack to a crack...The sad soul of Theon tells us a great story of how you can end up being the Bitch to Whacko!!!

 8) Be Nice... Not Every time!!
The reason boys get friendzoned is because they are over honest and nice.. Now Ned Stark was Honest too.. where did he end up?

9) KickASS Girls:
Guys out there!! Really you must stop thinking Girls are weak.. We Kick Ass... (PERIOD).Arya Stark, a little demon girl...

10) Stop Trusting Everyone:
You really don't wanna dig your own grave.. that just sucks.. What happened to Ned and Caitilin... People like Littlefinger are out there... BEWARE!!!

 11) Stay Calm... Help is your way:
Sometimes.. Just sometimes accept things as they are, and help comes your way.. all you gotta do is sit through the storm...Our cutie pie Sansa can say all about it...

 12) Best Friend:
Really Wolves are your best friends... They kill!!!!1

13) Dragons:
When life gives you Dragon eggs, Hatch them, tame them, and use them to kill all those who oppose you.. No seriously!!! DO IT...

24 Going on 60- Damsel bearing Tantrums

I am pretty sure a lot of young (old as per the Indian consensus)  and unmarried women can relate to this post. Now we have a lot of women/girls who are hitting their 25 age limit and are unmarried and who have no plans of marrying anywhere in the near future. But is this accepted by the innumerable aunties, uncles, granny's, granddads, neighbors, roadside romeos (dunno who gave them the title), maids, moms, dads, sisters, brother-in-law/sister-in-law families..

Now one thing that every Indian girl (for that matter any Indian) has written an agreement to before being born is that "Under every other circumstance/ Under every single minute for the rest of my life, I will for sure let every random person my Uncle/Aunty and every single random citizen to place their opinions on me, and will be subject myself to constant scrutiny and interrogation on the most ineffectual topics such as my marriage (most importantly)."

As Indians we need to let people place their opinions on us, answer their questions on our education and job.. now that the those are settled we move to subjecting ourselves to answer questions on marriage (Oh we love to poke others lives)  ... Now if you are a true Indian you wouldn't find it any less than normal.. I really cannot talk about guys in the issue of marriage coz for starters I am a girl and two guys on a large scale have a lotta psychological issues pertaining to commitment to anything (Just kidding )

But as girls there are certain things that we hear a lot in our day to day lives, or sometimes things that people say to our parents..  and some of those are as follows;

1)  Girls.. these days... Does she have a Boyfriend? (The nosy and noisy Aunty)

Umm.. yeah Aunty! the thing is .... I have a boyfriend he is basically half of Arnold Vasloo (in his Mummy form) and Half Scorpion king  (The scorpion part) and raised by the Animal Phyla (That's the cute side.. like jungle book )..He is brave, strong.. except there is one little glitch.. He isn't from our community...

               

 

 2) Oi.. What does she have to work for... She a girl, her job is handling the kitchen (The very hungry Uncle)

Right!!! The thing is, i personally love cooking.. but i don't know why everybody blames me for the death of the 3 cats, hospitalization of the groom who came to see me.. All i did was serve him coffee... On a totally different context.. would you like to have some Halwa i made?

Oh yeah Also, there is something called as Independence..Please feed on the dictionary once in your lifetime to improve your vocabulary.

 

 3) Something is definitely wrong with her horoscope (the ever worrying granny)

Yeah! I have been suffering from acute case of Horoscopical Maritomisis... so please treat me with your potion of ambrosia brought from the land of Maritasma... 

 

 4) This is all because of her Education!!! (Grandad of all times)

Yeah.. I am sorry that my education gave me this really independent life where i work and stand on my own feet...Im sorry that I am not following the rules of our society laid millions of years ago and acting like an evolved creature....Now get me a husband who can hunt deer and for dinner we shall feed on its flesh and drink its blood... You can join too.. I am sure we will find space in our stomachs to be cannibals...

 

 5) She will never get Married after 25!! (Moms sister) 

I know... Whats my life without  marriage.. I mean am i even worth being in this world anymore... Please if that happens... I give you the freedom to kill yourself... (Just kidding)

6)  I heard these days people like to play the same leg... I she into that? (The pesty neighbor who got some worldly information from her brother who lives in US)

Right!! So where exactly am I supposed to go to find the lost screws coz i really cant see the brain cells roaming everywhere.... 

7)  Oi... Hoi.... I always knew she loved me... She is too scared to admit it (The roadside romeo to his friends)

Yes.. apparently i am the damsel in distress writhing in agony caused by the societal obligations to be with the right person and not you who has no job, no sense, and absolutely no brain in the large head that is carried by a very small body.... 

 

  8) My daughter got married when she was 17... (The very pompous friend of the whole society)

Wait what? call the freaking cops.... 

9) How old is she? 24... OMG ( The very surprised random married friend of my brother)

Yes i am 24.. For freaking gods sake im not 60... Btw who are you?

 10) Im telling you.. wait any longer and she wont have any children: (Crazy older cousin) 

umm yeah... If the question of me bearing should arise... lemme assure you that there are quiet a lotta children out there in the world who need families... And NO!!! You cannot determine their caste or community by getting a blood test done... Thank you!!!!

So Girls If you really have dreams that you wanna chase, just be confident enough not to care about what people say... Most importantly be independent both emotionally and financially... Love you all...

As we all know, a human being is typically lazy..Changing the words of Caesar.. Lazy is our older brother from the same mother.. But we all have that one enlightenment time, when comes the most miraculous moment to change the way we exist and start living.. Now we ain't no Buddha to sit under the tree and miraculously for no reason get this enlightenment.. There is always a support.. Now this is one Helluva girl who motivated me to step out of my comfort zone and try new zones... Zones untouched...

Now i am pretty sure that Arvind Kejriwal also is a huge fan of Sunny Leone.. coz this dude stepped out of his safety zone.. The one thing he taught me in my life is no matter what the world says, no matter how many times you get bitch slapped.. continue doing what you are doing.. Walk like no one is watching you and keep blaming the Ambani's...

 3) Salman Khan:
Anybody who grew up watching Salman Khan is bound to have fallen in love with "Prem".. But anybody who watched Kick derives their inspiration from his Machismo and daredevil escapades on two wheel, no engine stunts...

 4) Alok Nath:
I am filled with the Sanskaar imparted in me by Alok Nath (Period). Sanskaar Rap on...

 5) Rajnikanth:
Enna Rascala.. I come from the side where Rajnikanth exists... His Anti-Physics and Anti-anything close to science has given me enough confidence to be here... Any questions?

Hey.. Now i may not have the Chopra house to back me up.. but c'mon isn't it enough inspiration that a person continues to act in a hope of hitting one number that'll miraculously change the whole story... NO? OK...
